For you

For you I wanna write a poem
For you I wanna sing a song
For you I wanna dedicate this song
Dianne, I like you to know
I do love you

For you I will right all my wrong
For you I will break my bad habits
Fo you I will be a better man
Dianne, I like you to know
I do love you

You're a beatiful girl and I like you to know it
You're a beatiful girl and I like you to know it
You're a beatiful girl and I like you to know it
You're a beatiful girl and I like you to know it

You are enough for me
No one else would ever be
Dianne, I like you to know
I love you very much!

* the song that I have made more Dianne! I love you mimi!

Joys from last week ( Belated Happy Anniversary)

"I suppose to make this entry last week but my computer is encountering troubles thus I cannot make an entry. Thank God that right now my pc is working properly."

Last week, Dianne and I celebrated our 1st anniversary. I planned things before hand. I prepared something for her 3 weeks before. Then a week before our Anniversary, the things that will happen on June 1 were finalized already (on my mind). Dianne has no idea what will happen on our anniversay. I just told her that I have planned something and I hope something will not interrupt my plans. I kept praying to God. I told Him to allow my plans for our anniversary to be granted. I told Him "sana Lord, this time makapag-celebrate kami ni Dianne." I have a fear that something might come up on the day of our Anniversary. I remember I told Dianne, "siguro kung di matutuloy yun plano ko sa June 1, iiyak ako". Well, I was serious with that. Of couse, I planned before hand snd I will be frustrated if ever we have to do something on June 1. I also told God, " Sana walang schedule ng interview o exam sa June 1 Lord. Pls. Lord, Bigay nio sa amin un June 1. Tapos kahit yun mga susunod na araw, magexam at magschedule na ang mga company".

May 31, Dianne was hired by Century Canning Corporation. She went to our house to tell me the good news. She also told me that she has to do the requirements needed. To narrate some, she has to have her medical, get sss number and have her picture taken. She has two days to do that. June 1 and June 2. We planned how will she do all the requirements and at the same time celebrate our anniversary.

I remember May 31 last year, I was praying to God. We have a plan last year to meet on June 1. I told God, " Lord, allow us to enjoy when we meet tomorrow. Sana po enjoy lang namin yun buong araw at maging isa iyon sa mga unforgettable day". I found myself on the same situation. I told God the same words I told Him last year. I added, "kaya na po bahala bukas". God heard my prayers last year. He made June 1 an unforgettable day! This year, He did it again. He heard me! We were not able to celebrate some of our monthsaries for some reasons and things we did not wish to happen. But God gave us our 12 months, 52 weeks, our 1st Anniversary! Allow me now to narrate what happened.

Dianne went early to the clinic where she will have her medical check-up. I woke up early to go to Dimasalang. I bought a bouquet of flowers. This is the first time I gave her a bouquet of flowers. After that, I went home and started to prepare our favorite foods. I made a carbonara and pizza. While I was making these foods, I praying to God and hoping that these foods will taste good.( bcoz the first time I made a carbonara, it was a disaster. The second time, it is better, I think). This is only the third time that I will make a carbonara. Dianne finished early the things she needs to do. I was done preparing. I txted her that she can come to our house already.

While we were eating, I played the music which were significant to us. To narrate some, they were "tulog na, stickwityou, cater to you, love will show you everything, she's the one, I'd rather, Thank God I found you, This I promise you, No one else comes close, Love moves and Finally found someone. She gave me a cake in a form of a starfish. (starfish is signifcant for both of us). She also gave me turtle (not an alive turtle). She designed and painted the turtle. Then, I gave her the flowers and my gift, scrapbook. The scrapbook is unique. It because starting from the cover until the last page, everything were significant. You may ask Dianne about it.=) by the way, the carbonara tasted well. As well as the pizza!=)

We went for a while to SSS to get her number. After that, we went to Market Market. Last year, June 1, 2005, we were there. It is where it all started. Then, we went to greenbelt chapel to attend the mass. Of course, we should not forget God because He was the reason behind everything. He was the reason of our joy, love, and commitment. This is the time when we ought to give the glory back to Him. I have lots to say but they all boils down into one sentence, "God, Thank you!" Simple words but a powerful one. Simple words but have lots of meaning behind.

It was evening already but the day is not over yet for both of us. We still went to timezone and play. And the finale, Dance Revo! hehehe..Dianne and I played at the Dance Revo.=)

I had a great Day! Both of us enjoyed! Both of us were happy. God allowed us to celebrate this day. It ws because we have a lot to celebrate. 1st) Dianne has a job already 2nd) It was our 1st anniversary and 3rd) It was because God is good. always good.

DIANNE, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

"God, I do have one wish! That is...allow me to spend the rest of my life, the rest of the years with Dianne, the person whom I love so much! As years pass by, allow our love and commitment to be stronger. Allow us to hold hands and center our relationship unto You!"

"Lord, please always protect Dianne in everything she do and wherever she is!I love her so much Lord. Wag ninyo po siyang pababayaan!Thank you!Thank you for everything!Amen.

Pre-employment blues....

I (Dianne) will start working on Monday. I intentionally took a blog leave as a form of penitence until I get a job. Well i think it is about time i share the story of my job search.

I started job hunting in the last days of April. Zek and I agreed to take a well-deserved vacation first. Father Ching from the Campus Ministry in UST advised us not to rush working. We agreed with him. I applied online and left a couple of resume's in the variuos companies. We were idealistic, optimistic and focused on our carreer vision.

For some reason, I wanted to work in a Manufacturing Industry. The reason is quite simple, I want to be able to witness how certain products are made. Simple, mababaw, ewan. Weird nga ata yung gusto kung yun. Para akong lalake. I think it is because in that kind of industry, someone has the chance meeting a diversity of people: from the blue-collar workers in factories to the top management. This was mentioned to me by the one who interviewed me.

However, i was not picky. I also applied to other industries as well. I ended up being interviwed 11 times in different companies. I was interviewed by 2 HR Managers, 1 HR supervisor, 1 Vice-President for Admin, and the rest were from Recruitment teams. I took 5 Exams as well. It was exhausting....BUT MOST OF ALL, I BELIEVE THAT JOB HUNTING IS MORE OF A "HUMBLING" experience.

It makes even the most proud people squirm with anxiety. It makes us a slave for phone calls. It makes us wait for long hours without complaining. It makes us walk long distances in order to save money. It makes us read the classified ads religiously. Minsan, kahit gaano ka kagaling sa tingin mo, mawawala rin ang YABANG mo. Nagiging pantay ang karamihan ng tao. Lumalabas ang mga kahinaan. Pero, lumalabas din ang TAPANG.

I have always wanted to pursue a carreer in Training and Development. It is because I believe that Training is the Heart of Human Resource Management. I wouldn't want to deviate from what i have trained and exposed to.

I will be an ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (OD) ASSISTANT IN CENTURY CANNING CORPORATION. it's kinda funny because the day after i learned I was hired, Ma'm Vida texted me about a job opportunity in GMA-7. Ma'm Vida is our professor in OD in UST.

I feel so blessed that i got my dream first job. It would be a good start for me to pursue my carreer plan. I have to thank the Lord for that. Now that i will work in an industry that i want, i am more motivated to work. Most importantly, i am in the field of work that i LOVE.
